On May 9, the air of a number of Russian TV channels was subjected to a hacker attack. In the description of the TV channels, as well as in the program guide, there were provocative messages regarding the special operation in Ukraine.
The content of the "message", which, as it turned out, appeared in the program as a result of a cyber attack, outraged viewers. In social networks, many have expressed that they consider it unacceptable to publish such a thing, especially on Victory Day.
MTS confirmed that a cyberattack was carried out on Russian TV channels. The problem arose in almost all regions where the mobile operator operates. The MTS specialist clarified that "the problem is widespread", and "the geography of what happened is very wide."
As reported, not only MTS, but also a number of other providers were subjected to a hacker attack. Now IT specialists are quickly eliminating the consequences of the hack so that viewers can use the services in full.
