The Kyrgyz parliament announced the hacking of their official website and the demands of The Black Pirate hackers for $ 10,000 in ransom.
“At the moment, it has been found out that the hacking occurred from one or several computers of the ZhK staff, on which passwords for administering the site were stored. Note that these computers were stolen during the riots on October 5-6,” the press service said.
Hackers from a certain group, The Black Pirate, sent a letter to employees saying that it was they who hacked the site.
“Logins and passwords, personal data, phone numbers, as well as several other government websites are under our control. We have a database of Kyrgyz citizens. In order to avoid the sale of personal data, please send 10 thousand dollars, ”the letter says.
