called the 7 main schemes of fraud, through which attackers profit from gullible people. Knowing them, you can protect yourself and loved ones from losing money.

First: on behalf of WHO and Rospotrebnadzor, fraudsters send out letters with false recommendations for the prevention of the disease, thus collecting user data that can be used for their own purposes in the future. Do not click on dubious links and open suspicious attachments in letters.

Second: attackers collect donations to fight the spread of the virus - to create a vaccine and various drugs. If you want to help in this matter, it is better to find the official website of a charity organization or foundation yourself.

Third: scammers create websites selling masks, respirators, thermometers. They take a prepayment for purchases, and then disappear. Use only trusted resources.

Fourth: on the network you can also see the offers of rapid tests and the latest medicines for coronavirus. But this is a hoax, it is necessary to pass the test with the participation of a medical professional, samples are analyzed by state laboratories. As for the vaccine, it will be created no earlier than 11 months later.

Fifth: strangers pretend to be doctors or disinfectants and offer the service of treating coronavirus with disinfectants to get into apartments. Before admitting intruders, it is necessary to clarify the information on the hot line number for coronavirus in your region. In Vologda, you need to call the number: 8-800-302-16-17.

Sixth: attackers can pretend to be employees of the Criminal Code and offer assistance in paying for housing and communal services in a bank branch. In this case, it is better to immediately contact the police. If such a service is really required, then you can contact the coronavirus hotline in Vologda: 8-800-302-16-17 and leave a request for help to volunteers who work only by prior arrangement and do not go to apartments themselves.

Seventh: there were also recorded cases when malefactors in camouflage “fined” citizens for violating the quarantine. Recall that compliance with the self-isolation regime is carried out only by law enforcement officials, and in case of any violations they present an official certificate and draw up a protocol.
