In the Chernihiv region, the police exposed the fraudsters who offered people work, and instead issued loans for them.

"In the spring of this year, the suspects took possession of copies of the client's documents, thanks to which they were able to take an online loan in his name in the amount of 9 thousand hryvnias. Today, the house of a 23-year-old Chernihiv woman and a 26-year-old citizen of Moldova was searched," the source said. the communication sector of the police of the Chernihiv region.

The police found there more than seven dozen starter packs from different operators, bank cards, mobile phones, laptop and other gadgets with which they could take out loans. They found out that fraudsters managed to get hold of copies of documents and passport data of more than a hundred Ukrainians.

In addition, the specified citizen of the Republic of Moldova was registered on specific hacker forums, where he could exchange or sell copies of documents and data of Ukrainians illegally obtained by him, was interested in software designed for unauthorized obtaining of data from Internet users, and also had software designed to exit into the shadow segment of the Internet (the so-called Darknet).

Now the police are checking a man and a woman for involvement in other crimes. Fraudsters face 3 to 8 years in prison.
