The operatives detained an unemployed resident of Vladimir, who is suspected of embezzlement of 220 thousand rubles. A 30-year-old man opened ATMs, the portal « DVD Media » said on Tuesday, January 3.
Earlier, a resident of Vladimir worked in a bank. He was engaged in ATM service. The man quit in August 2022, but he did not return the necessary keys and combination of codes. Also, the owner had a game addiction, so he decided to seize the moment and replenish the online wallet with other people's funds.
The man came to allegedly repair terminals in stores. But under disguise, he opened ATMs and took money in the amount of 15 to 55 thousand rubles. So, the Vladimir opened 8 terminals.
However, police detained a 30-year-old man on Dobroselskaya Street. He is suspected of embezzlement of funds worth more than 220 thousand rubles. A resident of Vladimir is in custody.
