The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation intends to create a Center for combating cybercrimes, telephone spam and phishing within the framework of the Digital Economy national project. This was reported by the TASS news agency.
“We are creating a large center to fight telephone spam, phishing and cybercrime. In fact, we say that we [the state and companies] are meeting each other halfway, that is, our systems will become more secure, and we will respond more clearly and quickly to all cases, complaints, when a person is called, they begin to try to commit some kind of fraudulent actions and so on, ”said Maksut Shadayev, head of the RF Ministry of Finance.
