A resident of Brest, who was charged with committing hacker attacks on user accounts in various countries of the world, will appear in court on Thursday, law enforcement officials said.

Employees of the department for solving crimes in the field of high technologies of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Brest Regional Executive Committee detained a 23-year-old resident of Brest in early 2020 on suspicion of involvement in the hacking of more than 150 thousand accounts of citizens of different countries. A criminal case was opened against him.
