The court decided to postpone the sentencing of Konstantin Ignatov, the brother and bodyguard of the founder of the OneCoin cryptocurrency pyramid, Rudge Ignatova.
The initial sentencing date was set for April 8, but is now rescheduled for July 8.
The US government asked for a postponement, saying that Ignatov’s cooperation with the authorities has not yet been completed.
Recall Konstantin Ignatov performed a witness in the case of a lawyer OneCoin Mark Scott, who recognized guilty of laundering $ 400 million.
Himself Ignatov was arrested in Los Angeles on March 6 at the international airport. He subsequently pleaded guilty to several charges, including money laundering. He faces up to 90 years in prison in the United States.
