The figurant has created an online equipment store at competitive prices. Subscription was a prerequisite. However, after payment, buyers did not receive any goods. Thus, the attacker deceived about 200 citizens.

The cyber police of the Dnipropetrovsk region, together with the investigators of the regional police, stopped the criminal activities of an Internet fraudster.
Law enforcement officers have established that a 29-year-old local resident was involved in such actions. The man has already been convicted several times and is now serving a sentence for fraud in a correctional center.
The person involved with a mobile phone created an online store on the ad platform. He offered household appliances for purchase at reduced prices. A prerequisite was a subscription of half or full price. However, after the purchase was paid, no goods were received.
During the pre-trial investigation, it was established that in this way the attacker deceived more than two hundred people.
Law enforcement officers conducted searches on the territory of the correctional center, where the fraudster is serving a sentence, and seized material evidence.
The man was announced on suspicion of committing an offense under Part 3 of Art. 190 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces a sentence of imprisonment for a term of three to eight years.
The pre-trial investigation has now been completed. The case materials, together with the indictment, were sent to the court. Law enforcers will apply for compensation to the victims of damage in the amount of UAH 400,000.
