All attempts by Russians to install Windows 11 and Windows 10 from the official Microsoft website fail.
On the official website of the American corporation Microsoft for residents of Russia, a restriction has appeared on downloading Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, as well as their images and the Media Creation Tool program. It is reported by TASS.
Attempts to install operating systems fail with a "404 - File or Directory not found" error. With a VPN connection, downloading occurs, the publication says.
At the moment, Microsoft has not commented on what is happening.
It is worth noting that foreign IT giants are massively refusing to work with Russian companies and government organizations - they stop selling and supporting their software.
