I AM REPORTING LEECHERS,PERSONALLY!
Brief concept: this revolves around getting a modded version of spotify called spotify++. With this you’ll be able to: skip any song, choose which exact song to play at any moment and time, play with HQ quality, use spotify connect, and for some versions even download for offline. This requires no root/jailbreak.
What I would like you to understand is: most of the times this method is seen as crap and/or useless, because people who use it just get it patched very quickly, why? Because they don’t unistall their previous spotify version (the original one) prior to installing the modded one. However I can tell you that a simple reinstall of Spotify++ will fix the issue, and nowadays it’s a lot less likely to happen. Personally, sometimes I have to reinstall ++ after 4-5 months, sometimes after 1-2 months.
iOS:
1. Have a Spotify account.
2. Delete your original Spotify app on your smartphone.
3. Go ahead to tweakboxapp.com
and download Tweakbox.
4. Open it up, wait for a non-full screen ad to load, tap on the top left x to remove the ad and then head over to ‘Apps’ and then ‘Tweaked Apps’.
5. You’ll find Spotify++, just tap on it and then tap install.
6. Now after installation if you try to open it, it’ll tell you ‘Untrusted Enterprise Developer’ to fix this go to Settings -> General -> Profiles and Device Management and you’ll see two sections: Configuration Profile, with something below (most likely tweakbox and some other stuff) and Enterprise App. Below Enterprise App click on whatever it says and then tap on ‘Trust xxxxxxx’ and then again ‘Trust’
7. Now it’s done, open your modded version of spotify, log into your spotify account and trust me this isn’t sketchy and they don’t log anything. When eventually it gets patched (which you can avoid by getting NoRevoke or NoApp from Tweakbox if you wanted to) simply delete spotify and repeat the process, it takes 30 seconds.
For Android:
1. Go to Settings -> Lock Screen and Security -> scroll down and make Sure ‘Unknown Sources’ voice is turned ON.
2. To download look up on google in this format : ‘Spotify-vxxxxx (version of the app, you can get it from google play by scrolling down) mod apk’ or just look up for Spotify++ Android and switch the google data filtering to month/week. Or head over to apkmody.io
and look it up there. You could also download tweakbox on Android I believe but I’m using the iOS version so I’m not sure. Install the APK.
3. You’re done. If it gets patched, you reinstall.
Of course I can give more details on the iOS version since it’s the one I use, but the Android one works just as well. This took me a long time to write so I hope you’ll get some use out of this, please give credits if you share!
