The allure of Persona 5 Royal remains as strong as ever, and we're back to enhance your fusion experience. In this updated guide, not only will you find a comprehensive fusion chart, but we've also added fusion guides for each Arcana. Our aim is to save you both yen and time while crafting your dream Persona roster.
Fusion Chart Overview
Persona fusion is a complex system in which various factors influence the resulting Persona. The primary factor is the default level of the ingredient Personas. It's important to note that the level you've raised them to since then doesn't matter – only their default level at the time of fusion. The formula for determining the resulting Persona's level is:
([Default Level of Persona One] + [Default Level of Persona Two] / 2) + 1 (or 0.5 if the average contains a decimal)
In simpler terms, the lowest possible level for the fusion Persona is the average of each ingredient Persona's default levels, rounded up. If the average contains a decimal, 0.5 is added.
As a result, you'll discover numerous fusion combinations for each Persona. Our guide focuses on the most cost-effective fusion options, as bulk fusing can quickly drain your yen.
Treasure Demon Fusion
Throughout your journey, you may come across Treasure Demons. They spawn in treasure chests within palaces and are more likely to appear when palace security is high. Fusing with Treasure Demons is different from fusing with regular Personas, emphasizing the Arcana more than anything else. You'll find Treasure Demon fusion options in our guide, and they may sometimes be more economical than standard fusions.
How to Use Our Guide
We've organized the entire Compendium by Arcana, following the order of the tarot. Each Arcana's Ultimate Persona, the most powerful Persona of that Arcana, is listed at the end of the Arcana section. Please note that you cannot fuse these Ultimate Personas until your Confidant has reached max rank.
Confidants will provide special items during their final scenes that permit the fusion of their Arcana's Ultimate Persona. Remember, even if you have the required Personas for the fusion, the game will not allow it until you complete the Confidant.
We've chosen not to include DLC Personas in our tables as they cannot be created through fusion.
